Within this context, the R&D department at Alba has developed E:USB: a practical, innovative item designed to improve the user experience in public spaces and waiting rooms.
The E:USB charger was created to ensure technologically-advanced services. It is made to be positioned on all types of waiting area benches with beam 80x40 cm, accommodating two devices simultaneously, thereby letting those who choose to sit down to make the most of their wait time.
E:USB is a must-have accessory for anyone who, during a hectic day, needs to charge a device while comfortably seated - drastically improving the waiting room experience.
Thanks to its minimalist black and white colour scheme and sleek round shape, E:USB also stylishly decorates public areas with essential refinement that is sure to get noticed.
The E:USB project arose from a careful analysis of the needs and behaviours of users in public waiting areas, as the designers in the R&D department at Alba explain: ‘When we came up with the E:USB, we put ourselves in the place of people sitting on a chair or bench, seeking to find the most simple way to make use of it. We also wanted to make the product easy to identify, which is why we steered clear of the square shapes of the bench itself and made E:USB round, so it immediately catches the eye!’
Design is in fact one of the most-researched aspects when creating Alba accessories destined for use in shared spaces, offices, homes and contract projects.
