Alba presents Wing: the designer seat which is great-looking, comfortable and functional
Wing is one of the new products presented by Alba during the Interzum Fair in Cologne. The brand is dedicated to designing, producing and distributing design components for furniture. Through in-depth studies carried out by our R&D department in partnership with a prestigious design studio, we have created a highly distinctive seating solution for the Contract environment.
Wing guarantees three main advantages: great aesthetic impact, superb comfort and outstanding functionality.
Why the great aesthetic impact:
Wing boasts a highly distinctive design, thanks to its characteristic “wings” and can lends a touch of style to any interior, thanks also to the 5 elegant colour variants available for the seat shell; you can choose between ivory, coral, black, blue and mud.
Why maximum comfort:
Wing's cradling seat shell ensures the seat is comfortable and immediately makes you feel relaxed. Option to have an upholstered seat panel to further enhance the feeling of comfort.
Why outstanding functionality:
Thanks to its characteristic shape, Wing is easy to move and simple to clean. Certain frame configurations also allow you to enjoy a designer chair which is easily stackable, making it highly functional and particularly suitable for use in Contract environments.

These important advantages are the culmination of in-depth studies and detailed, meticulous technological research. As Shannon Sadler, the chair’s designer, states “this project is the culmination of research into comfort that cradles a person coupled with the aim of creating a highly-distinctive line." He adds: "Just like a wing that leaves a trail across the sky, so the two “wings” that make up the armrests of Wing leave their mark on the surrounding environment, giving it a strong identity".
Wing is also extremely versatile, in addition to the 5 colour variants of the seat shell (ivory, coral, black, blue and mud), there are a range of frame types to choose from: slide or cantilever, 4-legs in metal or wood, swivel or 4-star base, or bench.
