A new milestone for Alba: the ISO 14001 Certification
TÜV Italia, the certifying body for energy quality, the environment and safety, leads Alba to obtain the important ISO 14001 Certification, in relation to waste disposal and the environmental impact of the production process.
A green goal with an eye to the future: the company has been aiming for a more sustainable business for some time now. The awarding of this recognition, therefore, leads the company to adjust to higher standards for the correct disposal of waste, adopting company procedures aimed at the correct disposal of all types of waste, not only in the production area, but touching on every area of the company. The commitment also extends beyond the company's operations, reaching the entire supply chain up to the value chain.
Internationally, ISO 14001 certification leads to greater competitiveness for the company, meeting the needs of customers who are particularly close to and sensitive to environmental issues.
ISO 14001 certification goes hand in hand with ISO 9001 technical certification, which for years has attested the high standards in the quality of Alba products.
The achievement of the certifications is not the only witness to the alignment of the company's objectives with its values. Alba also pays attention to the energy sphere, with the presence of a large photovoltaic system that contributes to mitigating the environmental impact, and for the future the company is committed to further expanding the use of FSC-certified paper material.
Choices, habits, new forms of responsibility. Every small gesture makes a difference. For this reason, the company's new goals will increasingly focus on a greater green focus, demonstrating its commitment to continuous improvement of its environmental performance and, more generally, its attention to environmental sustainability policies.
